The Business of Local Energy Symposium

June 21-22, 2019

Hotel Irvine
Orange County, California

Join us to hear more than 50 experts on Community Choice Energy at this year's Business of Local Energy Symposium. The keynote speaker, Fran Pavley, is the author of ground-breaking AB 32, California's Global Warming Solutions Acts of 2006, which created a cap-and-trade system to reduce California's greenhouse gas emissions. Pavley served two terms in the California State Senate and three terms in the California State Assembly, during which time she authored and passed many bills, including SB 32, which extended California's emissions reduction goals to 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030. Come hear Fran's unique perspective on California's legislative commitment to reducing emissions and how Community Choice agencies will help the state meet those commitments – with the help of renewable energy providers and other smart technologies.

Community Choice Agency (CCA) experts and leaders from across the state gather on June 21st for a day-long event about accelerating CCA adoption, sharing best practices, and creating more benefits for our communities. There will also be a pre-symposium workshop on the afternoon of June 20th discussing Advanced Risk Management and Accelerating Zero Emissions Vehicles.
